Dover Street Market Drops Gucci “Love Parade” Exclusives
Alessandro Michele presented Gucci‘s “Love Parade” collection in November 2021, and this coupled with a number of high-profile collections and collaborations has gone on to see Gucci become the world’s hottest brand. Now, a number of special-edition pieces from the “Love Parade” collection have landed exclusively at Dover Street Market, continuing the duo’s connection while also doubling down on the house’s icon status.
As part of the ongoing partnership between the two fashion juggernauts, the collection sees over a dozen pieces with most featuring a uniquely-designed character detail that was penned just for DSM. It adorns the pocket of a linen vichy jacket, a standout garment complete with pockets towards the hem and an exclusive red Gucci tag that’s accented by the gold chain sitting beneath the interior neckline.
Gucci has become known for its incredible bowling shirts, and this DSM-exclusive Hawaiian piece is no exception. Here, you’ll find a repeated slogan reading “Gucci In Love Waves” sitting alongside the specially-designed Hawaiian print and the emblematic red tag. Complementing this is the “Gucci Souvenir From Los Angeles” T-shirt, while one that reads “Gucci Love Parade” contrasts the holiday theme with the power of love.
More characters adorn a crewneck and sweater, while a selection of pants and shorts, as well as dresses and silky numbers in fluorescent hues, serve the house’s quintessentially ’70s aesthetic.
Gucci “Love Parade” pieces made exclusively for DSM can be seen in the gallery above and bought gucci-love-parade-dsm-specials”>online or in DSML now.
