On Sunday, stars hit the red carpet at the 95th Academy Awards and, needless to say, they all turned out for the event. High-glam looks, sophisticated silhouettes, delectable hues, and the buzziest trends (including fashion week’s favorite no-pants look) sashayed down the carpet.
Stars like Vanessa Hudgens and Sofia Carson channeled Old Hollywood glamour. Meanwhile, Halle Bailey opted for a frothy, cotton candy blue gown befitting of a Disney princess.
For a stunning grand entrance, celebrities partnered up with the hottest fashion designers to dress them in vivid hues. Oscar nominee Angela Bassett stepped out in an “ultraviolet purple” organza gown by Jeremy Scott, while Melissa McCarthy, who’ll make her debut this year as Disney’s favorite underwater villain Ursula in The Little Mermaid, wore a crimson gown by Christian Siriano.
Sultry looks also dominated the red carpet. Consistent style star Florence Pugh wore the “underwear as pants” trend in a gown by her go-to designer, Valentino, while Lady Gaga wore a low-slung Versace dress that slid down her buttocks. And as usual, Rihanna was a vision in an Alaïa number that revealed her pregnant belly.
Ahead, all those and more incredible looks from the 2023 Oscars.
Zoe Saldaña rocked a lace-accented, boudoir-inspired slip dress by Fendi Couture in the color of the evening: bridal white.
