New Year’s is a time to make resolutions, celebrate the past year, and of course, to dress fabulously.
If one person was going to take advantage of this stylish holiday, it would be Tracee Ellis Ross, and we’d give her the award for best dressed this NYE, thanks to the shimmering look she showed off on Instagram.
In a video posted by Ross, we can see she rang in the New Year in a silver mesh scoop-neck dress from Loewe over a pair of black wide-leg dress pants. The chainmail design featured tiers of fabric and two long strips that hung in the back, and Ross accessorized by adding a thick white fur cropped coat and black boots with a tan bottom. To match her fuzzy coat, Ross sported long white nails.
“Walking into 2024!” the Black-ish actor wrote in her caption. She soundtracked the video with the Beyoncé song “My House,” which also plays during the credits of the recently released Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé.
Fellow celebs showed their love for the look in the comments. Fitness entrepreneur Tracy Anderson wrote, “Ok my goal in 2024 is to match THIS vibe! You set the tone perfectly for 2024 @traceeellisross ♥️.” Meanwhile, actor Gabrielle Union wrote, “I love u.”
Ross ended the year with a series of stunning pieces, including a sculpted black blazer dress from Wardrobe.NYC, which she paired with opaque black Hervé Léger leggings and rouge slippers from Femme for a visit to Late Night With Seth Meyers in December.
